19th June 2009  - Tweed Valley Bike Bash

The Tweed Valley Bike Bash was at the St Ronan’s Primary School in Innerleithen, The event was organised by Deirdre Latimer on behalf of the Tweed Valley Tourism Consortium to bring local businesses and organisations together to promote biking to the kids and the community. We had a fantastic setup with The Clan doing a top notch demo display, the Emma and Tracey from the Hub did a 'have a go' session with the kids, Peebles Cycling Club setup a biking obstacle course, Ben from bikes and berms was there with the purpose built portable wooden pump track and the one and only trail building maestro Andy Wardman from the Forestry Commission at Glentress. This led to the building of a 120m trail section which was built and used by the kids and community. A massive thanks goes out to everybody involved, it was a fantastic event.

15th June 2009 - Birth of the portable pump track
