Glentrail House News and Whats On

"Hot off the press is the Tweed Valley Bike Bash at the St Ronan’s Primary School in Innerleithen, The event was organised by Deirdre on behalf of the Tweed Valley Tourism Consortium to bring local businesses and organisations together to promote biking to the kids and the community involved. We had a fantastic setup with The Clan doing a top notch demo display, the girls from the Hub doing a have a go session with the kids, Peebles Cycling Club setup a biking obstacle course, Ben from BikesandBerms.com with a purpose built wooden pump track and the one and only trail building maestro Mr Andy Wardman from the Forestry Commission at Glentress showing the kids how to build a trail in the woods based in the school grounds. Hopefully this will lead to the building of a 120m trail section which can be built and used by the kids and community. A massive thanks goes out to everybody involved, it was a fantastic event."
